My versa has disconnected from my phone. I got it reconnected by removing it, then taking it where there was wifi available. It disconnected as soon as I left the WiFi. Any advice??

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following in the order listed:
With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
If your Versa keeps disconnecting from your phone, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
