Versa won't stay connected

My versa syncs, sometimes. I have a supported phone (Samsung Galaxy note 8), the latest app, I've restarted Bluetooth repeatedly, I've reset my watch repeatedly, I've rebooted my phone, I've deleted the app and my watch and reinstalled and re-added my watch back, and it still will only randomly sync. I don't get notifications. I bought this watch in April, and it had been working, now it won't and I bought an expensive step tracker that can't function as a smart watch. It's been buggy for months like this, starting (shockingly) when I was past the return window. I've been a loyal customer since 2012 but I think this is the last one. So very disappointed in this watch, and I was so excited with the potential this had. Please tell me how to fix this, I'm at my wit's end.

I have the same problem and it's beyond frustrating. I'm training for a Marathon and pace and  distance is very important. But it drops contantly!!

I just bought the versa like 8 hours and it keeps telling me my tracker isn't connected when I've restarted my phone numerous times, restarted bluetooth numerous times, and the same with the watch.

I have had mine for about a week now and still having the same problem.  It sync's sometimes, first thing in the morning but if I try to sync later it tries but never gets there.  Also when I try to change the clock face I get the message "Unable to connect to Versa".  I have tried re-setting to no avail.  The watch I am using is a Samsung Galaxy S8. HELP!

Same here never syncs....cant do a run while connected...

Since I wrote this, I uninstalled a couple apps on my phone, battery doctor and clean master, thinking maybe those were cutting the connection between my phone and my watch. That did improve syncing, but it's still not 100%.

I finally found the solution for andriod. Go search notifications access in the search and click on item and enable the fitbit service.
