Versa won't stay connected

I just added my new Versa to my Fitbit account. I hate it! It won't stay connected. I have the Wifi on and have restarted it 3 times. I loved my blaze and wore it for 2 and half years. Why is this new one so difficult to work with?

@Adiane wifi is only needed for downloading big stuff, i.e. firmware updates, music, large clockfaces (currently only Fitbit labs labs ones) and large apps (Fitbit coach). Anything else (sync, notifications, clockfaces, apps) goes via Bluetooth. Now that we established that, can you please share your phone model and OS? In the meantime, you can try this to restore Bluetooth connectivity:

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Reboot your phone. Do not pair in your phone's bluetooth settings
  3. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  4. Open Fitbit mobile app and sync.

The trick here is to not pair in phone Bluetooth settings but rather let the Fitbit mobile app do that.

Additional tips if sync issues persist: If you have Wifi set up, go to Fitbit mobile app and remove it, then sync your Versa. I noticed that it causes issues for me. If you have other Bluetooth devices paired with your phone, forget them. One of them might be causing issues. Also, make sure Always Connected (Android devices) and All day sync are enabled.
