Versa won't stay on longer than 10 seconds

Had my Fitbit Versa since January 2019.

 

Absolutely love it, does everything I need, battery is great and is comfortable to wear.

 

Went to charge it last week and then I wore it to bed. When I woke up it was switched off and wouldn't switch back on. I plugged the device into the charge cradle and it switched on showing 98% battery. Shortly afterwards (around 10 seconds) it then switched off and it will only switch back on when in the charge cradle.

 

I tried factory resetting my watch and this has made no difference. 

 

I emailed support on Friday and I am yet to hear back. It's a shame that such an expensive device has seemingly given up after only 6 months, very disappointed.
