Versa won't stay paired or synced to phone

I have a new Versa and it won't stay pair to my phone.  The time is off continuously, I have to reconnect it to the phone, and it doesn't sync. I have tried restarting it multiple times, I have restarted my phone, I have forgotten the device and reconnected and it keeps happening.

Is the device you are trying to sync to a supported device?

Yes, it is a Google Pixel 2
