1st off I got the heart rate monitor red light of doom! It wouldn’t track my heart rate and battery was draining fast. So I did all the steps listed and still nothing worked. So decided to do a factory reset like was suggested and now it won’t sync with my phone. I also did all the steps listed... turned off Bluetooth, turned off Versa, forced Fitbit app closed, deleted app and reinstalled, turned off my phone. The app, watch and phone are all updated. But still nothing! The watch just says download Fitbit app to start. What other steps is there to take?! Super frustrating!

Hi there, @Jennylea360. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out. I understand how frustrating this can be.

If you performed a factory reset on your Versa without first unpairing it from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings, that would explain why it's no longer syncing nor keeping the correct time. With that being said, please try the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa.

If you can't get started with your Versa, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

If you continue having issues with the heart rate and battery, see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device? and Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
