Versa won't sync after low battery, although fully charged again

I have had my Versa less than a week and this is the second time I have had sync issues once the battery runs low. It fails to sync. Even after it is fully charged again it does not sync.

The first time I tried multiple troubleshooting steps and no avail.

Including, turning off and on multiple times, unpairing other bluetooth devices, manual sync, deleting app and re-installing etc

In the end I deleted my fitbit app reinstalled, removed Versa link and restored versa to factory settings and re-paired. This at first wouldn't pair the two, but my second attempt worked.

And as a result I lost two days worth of data 😞

Now again this morning (1.5 days later) it has happened again, it does not sync. I have charged the Versa completely, I have turned off phone and versa and re-started. Unsuccessful.

I have an iphone 6 and phone software is up to date. Fitbit app is also latest version.

I do not want to have to restore factory settings every time battery runs low!!!!

Help!

Hi, I am using Samsung s8+This has happened on a number of occasions. I have deleted app etc and reinstalled but still does seem to fix. It eventually comes good again if I restart my phone after reinstalling the app. But it can take a day or more of fighting with it to get it to synchronize again. It is extremely frustraiting. Every time it is left to go flat it crashes. Kind Regards  (Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone)

I have the same problem. I just got my versa2 and i am extremely frustrated. I have done everything...turn it off...reset...taken the app down and downloaded it again...EVERY SINGLE TIME...after low battery charging. I am about to send it back.

This was exactly my problem. I recently switched phones. It was connecting to my old phone. 🤦‍:female_sign: Thank you so much!

Mine does that same thing all the time. I'm getting tired of it. I had an off brand one for years that never did this and I paid like $10 for it.

I am having the same issue! I have a Google Pixel 4, and a Versa 2. Every time my battery runs low (like 14% or so) it stops syncing with the Fitbit app, even after it's fully charged. I'm having to uninstall the Fitbit app, reboot my phone, reboot Versa, reinstall the app and add the device again. It takes various combinations of all of the above to get it to sync again! It would appear this is a bug that Fitbit needs to fix with an update!!

I recently figured out if you hold down the button for 10 seconds it will
reset the actual Fitbit and you don't have to lose everything.

I have the same problem. the only thing that re-syncs is installing and re-installing the app on my phone, then re-connecting, re-setting up preferences, etc. It's really a pain.
