Versa won't sync, and now won't connect to phone or register

It's been frustrating in the past a few days sync my versa stopped syncing. Had always been slow in syncing in the past, and occasionally not able to sync for a day or two. This time it just failed to sync for 3 straight days. I tried everything from this solution post - https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa/Versa-won-t-sync/m-p/2947135#M46776

Yet nothing worked. Even worse is, unpaired the devise from the Fitbit app, uninstalled and reinstalled the App with the latest version, now Versa won't even pair with my phone, nor could the App connect with it. Tried for days with all the troubleshoot I can find online, nothing worked....

I hope Fitbit is working on a real solution. I am growing impatient and will consider abandoning it all together after 3.5 years with 3 different devices.

@NellyG I use a Samsung S9. Tried all of the tips in the suggestions on-line, actually called in to support today and disconnected/uninstalled the Fitbit app too. Couldn't get it to connect even with the troubleshooting assistance and all the disconnect steps :(. Now trying to decide if I want to replace it with a new Versa or something else (Charge 3?)

Ican't get my versa to sync with my I-phone XR either. I have done all the troubleshooting I can find and now also find myself with an unconnected device that won't connect. Now looking for my receipt to get my money back to use towards and Apple Watch.

Same issue here, except some combo of rebooting or turning the phone off and back on, forgetting and 'newly' connecting via Bluetooth or rebooting the watch -sometimes- works. Other times no combination of all of this stuff will result in a sync. This on a Google pixel 3xl. And this is all just happening recently - had months and months of normal, trouble free syncing.  I have an extended warranty through the store I purchased at, am very tempted to just take it back to them and go with a different brand. Seems a LOT of people are having this same issue in a variety of threads - I do hope Fitbit fix it soon otherwise I'll be moving on.

Very frustrating am getting so annoyed with it. I've found it extremely slow synchronization since the changes to the app. It's every second day almost I have difficulty syncing, tells me no device found. Today though I have switched phone off/on, fit bit on/off. Uninstalled app, followed all advice on forums and nothing. My phone can find it but the app simply won't sync! My husband and son haven't changed to the new app and they have no issues at all.

Hi
I still have all the same issues. Also the lack of syncing means it no longer shows the correct time. It’s effectively useless.
I’m going back to the place I purchased it today to do battle for a refund

Be nice if Fitbit would admit there's a problem - would make trying to get a refund/getting warranties much easier...

I got my refund from the retailer who did express surprise that this is a global issue when I turned down a replacement.

I'm having the same problem with Pixel 3 and my laptop (MacBook Pro).  Did you ever get it to work again?  Very frustrating as everything has been working fine for years, and last Thursday everything just stopped.  Uninstalled and reinstalled app, reconnected Bluetooth, shut everything down and restarted.  No go.  Oh - and when stopped syncing, the time is now 1 hour and 58 minutes off (behind).  So frustrating.

I am having the exact same problem.  I no longer can even get it to connect again after I uninstalled it.  I don't know what to do at this point.  The time isn't even right,

I was having this issue with my Versa 2, none of the troubleshooting steps "stuck" and I was having to re-setup the tracker every morning. I have since figured out the issue- I have a dual band router and my phone connects to the 5GHz signal while the Versa 2 only connects to the 2.4GHz signal. After they would sit all night, it was impossible to get them to sync even after all the troubleshooting steps. IF this is your issue, you may try forcing your phone to only connect to the 2.4GHz signal (possible on some phones) or forget your WiFi network through your Versa settings. I have not had a sync issue since. This may not be a fix for everyone having sync issues, but I've noticed that it has not been suggested through traditional troubleshooting sources. Hopefully it can help some people out!
