Versa won't sync to LG G7 ThinQ

I and my wife have had a Fitbit Versa since November 2018. They have been excellent until recently mine stopped working altogether and was replaced by customer service. The new one is found by the LG but will not connect, nothing I have down seems to help. It will connect and sync with my old Samsung Note 4 just fine. Yet my wife's Fitbit is still syncing and working fine on the LG G7 ThinQ. Has Fitbit done something in there more recent software to mess up the LG sync or is it new Android Software? Out of ideas.

Welcome to the Community Forums @steveops! I'm sorry for the late response. Thanks for trying to solve the syncing difficulties between your Versa and the LG G7 phone prior to contacting us. 

I'm afraid to mention that the reason why your Versa may be not syncing to your G7 is because this phone model is not yet included in our list of supported devices. You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance. 

However, I'd recommend trying the following steps:

1. Remove the old device (the replacement) from the Bluetooth settings

2. Remove your actual Versa from the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone or any other phone you tried to set it up with.

3. Restart your Versa

4. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.

5. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.

6. Setup your Versa

• I just got a Fitbit versa lite and then it will not sync to my LG G7 thin phone. I've read in the comments hear that it is because the Fitbit ap does not yet support that phone. However, how can I use this watch without syncing it to my phone? For example, can I some how connected it to my computer? If so, can you tell me how because I've spent the last hour trying to connect it through my computer using the charging thing but it won't let me until I can get the wifi on my watch. But I can't seem to do anything with the watch until I get it synced to a divorce. 

I feel like just spent $200 on a watch I can get to work.
