Hi there, @Cleary. Thanks for stopping by and for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out.

May I know the model of your mobile phone? Please make sure it meets the requirements listed here.

Despite meeting the above requirements, the following devices often exhibit compatibility issues that cause our products and services to not operate properly:

  • Huawei P8 Lite
  • Huawei P9 Lite
  • Xiaomi Mi 6
  • Huawei P20 Lite
  • See these additional instructions for help resolving any issues using the Fitbit app on this device.

If your phone is not on the list above and meets the requirements to operate properly with the Fitbit app, please try the steps below:

1. Remove the Versa from your phone's Bluetooth settings and in the Fitbit app.

2. Restart your Versa.

3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.

4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.

5. Set up your Versa.

Hope that helps.

I tried this several times. Only one time I had success. It stopped synchronizing on June, 28th and the one time it worked was July, 6th. I tried to connect via Windows 10 and Fitbit app, with my mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy S9)  which worked the last 2 years and I tried it also with my tablet (Android).

There is no connection to my Versa.

If I tried to get in touch with the support, there I read the notification that Fitbit is searching for a solution here.

Have you found something? The steps doesn't work with my Fitbit and it is independent if I change my devices.

I had this same problem. Have a Samsung galaxy s9. I tried restarting, turning off Bluetooth, turning versa off and back on as this tricks have worked previously. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the fitbit app on my phone and now it's syncing.

Hope this helps!
