I just got my Versa, i had it setup using an android device version 8.0, works perfectly well for a while. Disconnected it then when trying to reconnect and sync it to the same device, it just wont sync. So i tried using an older phone running o. Android version 7.1.1, and it works perfectly fine. But im using my 8.0 android, is this really an incompability issue with the android system? Firmware update pls

It is more likely the make and model of phone is the problem rather than the Android version. What is the phone you are using?

Hey @MRZL, welcome to the Community! I'd like to know, what type of phone are you using? Is it a compatible device? Am asking because as @NellyG said, the issue could be more related with a compatibility issue than with the operation system's update. In the meantime, I'd like you to take a look at all the troubleshooting listed in this help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? And let me know how it goes!

When i read about device ompatibility, i saw that my phone, huawei, really have an issue with regards to fitbit. That was unexpected given that all my other bluetooth devices had no problem with connectivity to my phone. Versa ought to do something with this, and reading through other forums, apparently no solution or progress was made ever since. I hope there would be a solution sooner, i hate to give up my versa when i just had it for a week and never had the chance to use it properly.
