Versa won't sync with my phone's app

For at least the last week my versa does not sync with my phone app. The message on my android phone states that it can not find a device. When it eventually does "find" the device, the sync is not complete - it does not update all the data. The versa device is charged, the phone is charged.

 

Love the versa - when it works it is great. But getting very frustrated.

Where is the down thumb response.  I have tried everything EVERYONE has written.  Emailed support.  Talked to the twitter support folks,  Tried every published solution here and on reddit and anywhere else I can look and the only thing that works is uninstalling and reinstalling EVERYTHING EVERY HOUR in order to just get the BASIC watch function of keeping time.  The only thing I can try now is an Apple Watch as I have given up all hope with a response from FitBit that isn't sit on the phone for an hour AGAIN doing everything AGAIN to prove that it doesn't work and then be told -- THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM and our engineers are working on it.  Why torture me AGAIN with ALL THE STEPS AGAIN to tell me after an hour that it is a KNOWN PROBLEM and we are working on it AGAIN.  Don't torture us if you know it is STILL a known problem.

Fitbit still sucks. Syncing was ok for a while but now is worst thatn before.
