Versa won't track heart rate during sleep time

For a week now, whenever I sleep my brand new Versa 2 won’t record most of all of my sleeping heart rate. I tried restarting the device, I’ve tried making sure it’s charged, and I recently updated everything. It reads my heart rate throughout the day just fine but when it comes to sleep it just stops. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do about it?

Hi @Owll, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it doesn't track heart rate during your sleep time. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch

Finally, monitor your watch and see if it tracks your heart rate during your sleep time properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
