Versa won't turn nor charge at all.

Over the past few months my Versa was draining much faster than in the past - I'd have to charge it about every day and a half. Last week I started having trouble with it syncing - it couldn't find the device except on my home wifi (despite having wifi connections elsewhere).

Last night it died while I was sleeping, and when I tried to charge it today...nothing. The screen won't light up, it won't turn on, won't even show that it's charging. The app simply tells me that the battery is empty.

I've done all the recent updates within about 24 hours of them becoming available. How can I fix this!?

@Jesse_T, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa won't turn on or take a charge. I appreciate the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps that you mentioned above.

Please let me know if your Versa vibrates when you put it on the charger.

In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

JuanJo,

Thanks for responding.  Shortly after your post, yes, I was able to charge my fitbit.  However, it refused to sync, and then shortly thereafter started developing flickering vertical lines on the screen.  Since it still wasn't syncing, I attempted to unpair/pair it with my phone, but could not do that, either.  Since then, I have not been able to use it, as the screen is completely unusable.  It has not been damaged, dropped, etc., and worked fine up til that point when things went downhill quickly.  Please advise!

Im having the same issue.  I have let it sit in charge for 3 days and it says 2% but it goes off as soon as I remove it off the charger. And it will not allow me to do the reset, nothing vibrates when I place it on charge. It's just a black screen. This is very aggravating I haven't been able to use this device due to multiple issues.
