My Versa battery seemed to die faster than usual today, and after I changed it to full this evening I noticed the screen kept immediately turning on after it turned off. I checked the settings to make sure it wasn't set for always on, I set it to manual turn on only and it still did it. I searched the forums and found that some faces have issues, but I was using the SpO2 face by Fitbit, but just in case I switched it to Layers. Still won't stay off. So I reset it twice and even did a factory reset, but still it turns back on immediately. Any ideas?

Hi there, @Ttodegaard. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.
I was thinking the same as @Guy_. So, please try to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air, just hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button. Then, please try restarting your Versa by following these steps.
If the steps above don't do any difference, the best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.
On the other hand, if you manage to turn off your watch, but the battery is still draining, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Could a button be permanently or intermittently making a connection?

So this was a great idea but before I could try it, the screen on my Fitbit developed lines through the image so there definitely something wrong going on in the internal components and it's not related to the button. Good news is the screen turns off now, bad news is the screen is otherwise barely usable. I got a good run out of it - November 2018 to now. I get to upgrade, just have to decide between the Versa 3 and the Sense.
