Versa won't turn on after a factory reset

My Versa stopped syncing with my phone app about a week ago.  After trying everything suggested by Fitbit on the forums 3 X I did that final option of a factory reset.  Watch was fully charged when I did this but now won't come on.  Tried recharging it in two different chargers for 24 hours each time and nothing.  Doesn't vibrate, doesn't light up.  Absolute zero.  Really disappointed.  I had two Fitbit trackers prior to this and decided to "upgrade" to Versa and got barely a year out of it.  If there is some other magic let me know.  I am now torn as I use my watch daily and want to replace as soon as possible.  As much as I like the Fitbit features and app, I am hesitating to throw my $ in to something that has proven to not have longevity.

Hi there @queenliz, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about your Versa 's recent behavior. I appreciate the details shared in your post and for taking the time to troubleshoot it prior to posting here, I'll do my best to help you.

While reading your posts, it seems that the Factory Reset drained the battery and also looks like the battery may not be charging properly and therefore does not turn on. So, I recommend that you follow these steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable (both of them) using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
