Versa won't turn on after attempted restart

I fully charged my versa before going to bed, I use it to track my sleep. This morning I noticed that my notifications weren't coming thru and the App confirmed it had stopped syncing 2hrs previously. No biggie, this has happened many times. I attempted to sync, with charger, without charger, restarting my phone. Nothing worked. Next step was to restart the versa. I turned it off...and now it won't turn on. It does not buzz or otherwise respond to the charger. Please advise.

Forgot to mention...my Versa has NEVER been submerged, I do not wear it in the shower nor wash dishes with it on my wrist. I do have a screen protector AND a bumper case on it.

@Kraftykittenz were you able to find a solution for this?! I am having the same issue and Fitbit hasn't provided any solution for me.

I am having the same issue. It won't charge and won't do a factory reset by pressing the buttons. I've left it on charger overnight.

Same for me, Everyone keeps telling us to reset it, but thats impossible if the watch wont even turn on.

I contacted customer service yesterday. It was actually the face of my watch that has gone bad. There is nothing they can do. They offered me a 25% coupon for purchase of another or 40% of the Versa lite in burgundy.

Hi, I have the same problem. I shut it down yesterday evening and it hasn't turned on since, even though I had it in the charger all night. My phone shows last sync before shutting it down, so screen malfunction can't be the reason. I would appreciate if Fitbit can give an answer to this issue. It seems to be a big one. If this can't be fixed they should warn users not to turn off or reset their Versa-devices!

Did your device sync after shutdown or restart?

I found a solution here in the Community that said hold all three buttons (15 sec - 15 min) until the logo reappeared.

For me the logo came at around 20 sec. and disappeared. Then I pressed the back button for another 3 sec to turn it on.

Now it seems to be working! 🙂

That didn’t work for me because my display has gone out. I’m very sad.
