Versa won't turn on after charging

Noticed that my versa died during dinner. Put it on the charger when I got home and it confirmed it was dead with a flash of 0%.

Showered and checked after...was charged to about 13%.  Went to bed and woke up to a dead watch.  Tried holding buttons (2, and then all 3), tried tapping the screen...nothing.  so I checked the last time it was working and when it synched to my app last...that morning at 4:18am, with a full charge.  So in a matter of 1.5 hours, it synched and then died.  Am I missing a step here?  Is there anything else I can try?

I suggest cleaning the contacts on the Fitbit and restarting it.

  1. For Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Ionic, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. For Fitbit Versa Lite Edition and Fitbit Versa 2, hold the back button for 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Please let us know if this helps.

Nothing works.   I have held nowthe back and bottom, and all 3 buttons for 10+seconds.  Some users said they had to hold them 3 minutes. Nothing has worked. I know it charged, because it was at full charge the last time it synched with my app, which was 1.5 hours before I woke up and found it dead.

@TLClark, I'm sorry for the late response. However, I appreciate the time spent trying the tips that were shared above.

I'd like to know if your Versa vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try charging your watch through other USB ports of your computer.

Keep me posted.

I've given up with it.  I tried charging on multiple ports.  I borrowed a friend's charging port.  It is toast, and only after a little more than a year. I ordered a new replacement watch, if this one lasts just as long, I'm switching to Garmin.

Considering the fact that I only had this thing for 13 months before it
died, a little reimbursement for the replacement would be great. I expected
a little more than 13 months of function.

Thanks
