A few days ago i noticed that the green blinking lights on the back of my Versa watch were not on so it was not detecting my hr. I turned it off and back on and nothing. I looked online and several people were having the same issue and i saw that there was a respinse from fitbit suggesting a factory reset. I tried that and as soon as i clicked on factory reset my watch turned off. It was fully charged (98%) when i did this and now the screen is completely black. Ive tried pushing the three buttons to turn it on for several minutes at a time and nothing. Ive tried leaving it to charge for a full day and nothing. This is very frustrating.

Mine was unfixable. My versa was stiluck on the Fitbit logo and wouldn't boot up. So I had no choice but to buy a different device. The versa is such a bad watch, I bought the sense 2 and it does more than is did with my old one

@mgonzalez0728 Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.
I would like you to follow the tips mentioned in this article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? If your watch didn't have enough battery life when you perform the factory reset, it can be the reason why it's not turning on again.
Keep me posted.

I had the same problem and also had to do a factory reset. I pushed and held the left button until the fitbit logo came on.

mine was going blank and not showing anything on the screen when I tapped it or pushed the button. I did a factory reset and now it won't come on. I also charged it overnight. Not even a year old. I'm very disappointed.

I have only had my Versa for about six months. It just stopped vibrating with texts today and I spent most the day trying to problem solve. Called support twice and nothing worked to fix the problem. I decided to do a factory reset because others said that solved their issue. Now my versa will NOT turn back on. Absolutely ridiculous. Looks like I am done with Fitbit. What a waste of money...so frustrated...

My fit bit died, and I spent the whole day on the phone with support yesterday. After doing all of the troubleshooting tasks with support, it was determined it was dead, out of warranty, and I was sent a 25% discount link to order a new fit bit. My husband gave me his fit bit that was working fine. I did a factory reset on his fit bit and attempted to pair it to my account. The fit bit was at 100% when it completely died after the factory reset. I have done everything to troubleshoot that I did with support yesterday to no avail. No vibration, nothing but a black screen. It was fully charged.
This is very frustrating and after reading all of the similar stories, what is the issue?

That’s ridiculous. People on here have had there’s for less then a year and are having the same issues. So you pretty much have to buy a new one even though it’s an issue with other customers also?

I also did all of the above after my fitbit stopped registering heart rate last week. My fitbit was from January last year. Still won't turn on after factory reset.

I'm having a similar issue. Mine charged to 100% and when I take it off of the charger the screen turns completely black. I have tried the factory reset (pressing and holding the 2 bottons for 3 minutes) and still nothing. The screen will only turn on when it is on the charging station. The only difference is that it vibrates after a 2 minutes of it being on charge, also I'm noticing that the actual fitbit (not the band) is causing my skin to get really irritated, dark and dry skin. I take really good care of my product wiping it down with lysol wipes and cleaning the band. I'm not sure how this could happen and its very frustrating.

I also had the same issue. Last night I realized my green LED lights were not working therefore I did not have a heart rate. I went to the forums and tried restarting, then shutting off my Versa. I finally did a factory reset and my Versa would not turn back on. Completely black screen. I talked to support a few times and tried cleaning my charge points on both my watch and the charger, and left it on the charger for 30 minutes. It was finally decided that it was just not working anymore. And it’s past warranty so I have to buy a new one. It’s frustrating. It may not have picked up my Heart Rate but at least it was working and was fully charged. I followed the guidance provided by FitBit and now it doesn’t work at all.

This is a common issue that FitBit is not trying to take responsibility for. Their fix for the ones that are past warranty is to give them a 25% off a new device. No thanks! I recently switched to an Apple Watch.

Same issue. Versa wouldn't sync so after trying everything else I did the factory reset. Versa was fully charged. Now nothing despite all efforts. Pretty disappointed. This is my 3rd Fitbit and I am pretty disappointed that I didnt even get a year.
