Try restarting several times. If that doesnt wake it up try a semi factory reset using the buttons (see below). If that doesnt wake it up then I think it has died and all you can do is contact support and see if they can help you.

Restart your tracker

Fitbit Support

SEMI FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up.  Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

I have had the same issue twice now. I had shutdown my versa and immediately tried to turn it back on with no luck. Just keep trying with holding down all 3 buttons. Eventually it will work.

I have the same issue. I cannot turn off my Versa (first gen) without having to do a hard reboot to get it to come back on. Then I have to go through all the issues of it not syncing...sometimes even having to "remove" it from my app and add it back in like a new device. This started about 2 or so months ago and is a total pain! Wonder if there is a warranty....

Thank you so much, this worked for me first time! 😀

Hi @johnnyk71 Yes therebis a waranty on Fitbits. For most ofbthe world it is 1 year, except for Europe and Australia where it is 2. You need to contact Support to discuss your warranty

Spoiler
I accidentally allowed my Vera's battery to drain completely. I recharged back to 100% and it started. Unfortunately the time was wrong (way off, not just wrong time zone) and it wouldn't pair/sync with the tracker.  Tried everything on the tracker side, nothing. Powered off/on the Versa. I did a factory reset and now it won't power up. NO combination of button pressing or holding will start the Versa. HELP! There's a very small hole on the back of the Versa; does that help with resetting? I'm stuck.

I shutdown my vera and I am not able to turn it on. I have followed thr reset directions, charged the watch, etc. I'm not sure what else to do. I used the watch last night for a workout. I went to the app to look at my stats and realized it didn't sync. I tried to update the app and it didn't. So, that's why I shutdown the watch. I haven't had any issues until now it will not turn on. I'm not sure what to do.

Thank you. This really helped. I had trouble turning on watch after shutdown. Press all 3 buttons then tried the back button again.

Hi Nelly,

Thanks, the strategy works Very well, but not sure if you realised you can also use that to power on the Fitbit and check it's battery power. But yes that works if you can't use the power button only.

@Billp2000 Oh that's not good... but I think the hole isn't for resetting, but of course you can try. However have you tried holding all 3 buttons, 12 seconds? Also try charging your Fitbit again because even though I was on 65% battery, that plummeted down to zero the next morning after I tried to reboot it.
