Versa won't turn on or charge after update

I updated my Versa's software yesterday. When I turned off my watch it was at 77% and this morning it wouldn't turn on. I put it to charge for an hour and it still won't turn on. It doesn't vibrate or sync with my phone either. It's just dead.

Hi @Marissaxnichole. Welcome on board.

Thanks for updating your Versa's firmware and for trying to charge it prior posting. Since your Versa isn't responding correctly, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

  1. Clean the gold contacts  on your watch and charging cable.
  2. Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable.
  3. Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  4. Restart your Versa one more time.

I've moved your post to the Versa board so you can receive more related responses about this situation and to keep our forums organized.

Let me know how it goes.

This has just happened to me.  I noticed the Fitbit app was displaying a much higher step count than the Fitbit.  Tried numerous times to sync but to no avail so decided to restart.  Now my Fitbit is dead.  Tried all of the above but don’t know where to go from here.

I just did a livechat and was advised to restart the watch - hold the back
and bottom button until the logo comes on. It then showed my watch had 5%
and I put it on the charger and it is now charging. He said to restart the
watch every so often to help refresh things. Hope this helps for you.
