I have tried to follow the reset method as discussed on other threads and the device will not restart or turn on. I charged it to 100% as of yesterday but then the screen went black. I bought this device as of April 2019. Please advise.

@rwinfrey1906 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't turn on even though you have restarted it and charged it completely before contacting our forums.
Id' like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains the restart process but you can skip it since you already tried it and proceed with the rest. After trying those steps, charge your watch again for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.
