Versa won't turn on or charge

My versa was working fantastically until 731pm last night. Then Boom. Dead. No malfunctioning, fully charged, no slowly draining battery life, no issues. Now it wont do anything. The lights on the back dont flash, it wont turn on, the screen wont flash, nothing. Charged it just for kicks, tried resetting it, tried every tip on here - nothing. What the heck??? You know what i figured out? Its 1 year plus 15 days, DAYS, after i bought it. Super disappointed. So is this a cash grab or what?

Tried every single applicaple solution and nothing. It gets warm on the charger, but dead as can be. The app says "no device found" and has said so since monday night. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated at this point as i have always excellent taken care of my device and in fact it is in nearly flawless condition with the exception of this one quirk where it died for no reason.

I am having the same issue and my fitbit is of similar age.

Have also tried all the steps and nothing at all. No lights flashing at the back and nothing on the screen.  I even left it to charge for more than 5 hrs and tried different ports and connectors still nothing.

I’ve had the same issues. I’ve been a Fitbit customer since 2014 and after my most recent experience, I’m done. Every single device I’ve owned has needed to be replaced due to malfunctioning (charge, charge HR, charge 3, and currently versa), sometimes multiple times within the warranty. I bought my most recent device, a versa, in April 2019. It died out of nowhere in June, I was sent a replacement device, and now that device is dead after several days of malfunctioning (screen went nuts, couldn’t use the touchscreen at all, then went blank). Again, Fitbit is sending a replacement device, and customer service is wonderful, but why do these products have so many issues? I’ve never had a Fitbit device last more than a year without malfunctioning (Versa hasn’t lasted more than two months so far!!), which is alarming.

/This EXACT thing happened to my Versa as well!  I cannot get it to do anything.  It worked fine not problems at all, tried charging, it won't turn on, screen doesn't do anything, lights on the back don't flash...nothing!  I've had mine just a little /it over a year as well (purchased on 7/09/18).  I am super disappointed in it as well.  I was really hoping it would last longer than a year.  I wonder since you had the same issues exactly if there is something wrong with the "batch" that we happened to get?  It would be nice to see what Fitbit says about this issue.

This Versa is less than a year old.  I brought it at the end of January 2019.It was working fine until all of a sudden it won't turn on. I charged it for several hours. I tried resetting it

to not avail.

FitBit Team,

I am having the same with my FitBit Versa.  It worked well until yesterday evening and I have spent several hours researching how to reset it, charge it and factory reset it.   I have followed the troubleshooting guidance and I need some more support.

I am not sure how toreach Customer Service. The only thing that we can do is to use our voice to make sure that fewer people experience the same as we did!!

I bought 2 of these for my wife and I and luckily mine bit the dust before the warranty ran out. Today my wife’s did the same thing and as luck would have it our warranty just expired! They have known about issues for almost a year now and done nothing to fix them! Fitbit is terrible with customer service! If I had known this would be the way they treat their customers I would have just bought the Apple watches instead and that’s what I have to do now! My advice to anyone thinking of buying a Fitbit is don’t! Stay away it’s just an expensive paperweight! Save your money and buy the Apple Watch or the Samsung if you have android. You will end up buying it anyway when your Fitbit up and dies on you!!

I am also having the EXACT issues.  I was wearing it and before bed I went to check the time and completely dead. Put it on the charger... No lights it's been on the charger for over 24 hours and still nothing.

I have also the same problem.

Since yesterday evening it won’t do anything anymore. Hope there will be a solution, because it seems a lot of people have the same issues around the same time.

Ditto. I will have to check when I bought it but it died this weekend. I’ve followed the instructions posted here with no luck. It is warm on the charger but no lights at all. The app is ghosting me as well. 🙄

I paid a lot to get the Fitbit I wanted (it’s my second Fitbit) and I’m pretty annoyed - especially when I see how many of us are having the same problem at the same time.

It’s dead and the best they will do is offer a small discount on another
one. If your lucky and still have any warranty then they will replace it
but I’m guessing the warranty just ran out within the last month or so?
