My Fitbit versa screen went black and won’t turn on or charge. I have purchased a new charger, and it still isn’t working.

Hi! I have a Versa Lite I purchased in June 2019 & tonight it has gone dead - no green/red lights on the back, screen is blank & I cannot reset the device. It's never done this before!
When I put it on my charger it will light up & sync with my Galaxy S10+ but as soon as I take it off the charger it appears dead again.
I know the battery isnt flat.
Help please!

Versa 2 suddenly black screen, won’t turn on,, tried all troubleshooting options. Nothing is working!!app says I have a full charge, app won’t connect phone to WiFi, no green lights. Nothing.. won’t do anything.. I see on Twitter and the forum 1000’s with the same issue. Also no vibration / notifications prior to the shut down.. My watch is only a couple months old!! I keep very good care of it, never been wet, it’s clean. I’m so sad... what do I do?!?!?!?!

My versa ran out of battery and died. I've had it on charge for most of the day yet it will not turn on. I've had this problem previously where it takes a long time to restart. However, it seems to be getting worse each time it happens.
I've tried all the suggestions I've found on the forums.

I have done all of the tips in the help article, and still the Fitbit does not work. Is there anything else that can be done?

Thanks for the reply. After leaving it a day or so, it turned back on. Obviously I don't want it to continue like this as having to leave it a few days at a time doesn't help me with my stats etc. I have quite a few troubles with the watch overall. For example I charged my watch fully on Thursday night as I knew I was going on a 14 mile walk on Friday. Unfortunately after around 8 miles my watch died and when I tried to turn it back on, it showed a red battery with 0% in the middle. I'm finding it disappointing on a whole and makes me want to look into different watches and apps available.

I’ve had a lot of trouble with my Versa in past couple of weeks, prior to that all was well. Battery finally started charging after leaving on charger all day, but still problems getting it to stay on long enough to read time. Continues switching back to Celsius from F.

I'm new to this forum. My Fitbit Versa has died at exactly 1 year old. I am trying to get in touch with Support but only option is via Twitter Direct Message and they are not responding. Is this only way I can get help???

I am having the same issue. Have followed all of the steps in the help article and nothing is working. I agree with what one of the other posters said - I have had nothing but trouble with this watch and am seriously considering switching to a different brand.

@LizzyFitbit Hi,thanks for the reply. Yes it did turn back on but then I have had continued issues. As I previously stated, my watch, although charged to 100%, turned off after 2 hours during a 15 mile walk. I believe it should be able to last longer than that especially when fully charged. It also did this on Monday, I was playing rounders and after an hour and half, it switched off. How long should a workout be able to be tracked?
