Hi there @vksuri9, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa isn't turning on or charging, I understand where your concern is coming from. Thanks for taking the time to fix your watch, I'll be glad to continue helping you.

I've seen that you contacted our Support Team after posting here about this issue. Please keep a lookout in your inbox to the email address associated with this Fitbit account. Someone will be in contact with you as soon as possible since our support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual.

In the meantime, if your watch hasn't vibrated when you performed the factory reset, I'd recommend trying the following:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

We hope your issue is solved soon.

Hi

I am sorry to report that all the troubleshooting steps as advised by you and suggested by the community haven't worked so far. The sensors and vibrator do not work  even after attempting to do a factory reset

My Versa2 has just done the same.  Screen is blank put in charger lit up with 99% battery then went blank again.  I have tried to reset and nothing it was also a bit touchy yesterday but today nothing.

Also when I put in the charger it comes to life 109% battery Home Screen for a minute then blank again

I'm having a similar problem. I have tried all of these steps a few times now over the past week, but the issues haven't resolved.

This is an expensive watch to not last quite a year.

Same here, I seem to be having to purchase new watches every 2 year and within the 2 year period having issues in between where the warranty has covered the issue and been replaced but here Iam again with the watch in a dead like state, tried all troubleshooting steps to no avail!

I am having a similar issue.  I have purchased a few different products and this is the 3rd one I have had issues with.  I figured the first 2 times were a fluke, so I tried for a 3rd. After trying everything suggested, several times,  I left my versa off the charger for days to run the battery down hoping it would reset, which,  when hitting the buttons,  came up on the screen as 0%. No complete drain of battery power. I decided to put it on the charger and after 1 minute out so, I tried the 3 buttons reset and it did vibrate, but gave me an error that the reset did not complete with a red x. After several times of this, with the same outcome, I decided to charge it completely.  Now my screen has the fitbit logo on it all the time and the trying the 3 button reset, does not vibrate.  What I find really interesting is when I went to my app, prior to the charging, my screen said I was at 91% power (and this had been for over a week that the app showed 91%) now I go into the app after charging and it is at full battery. If my versa is not visible to the app and it is unable to sync, why the change?
