Versa won't turn on or charge

Hi. My Versa died because it ran out of charge. When I try to charge it back again, it displays 0% momentarily on the screen and goes blank. Tried cleaning the contacts and still no luck. The restart of device by pressing the back button and the right bottom did not give me the logo. The reset button by pressing all the three also did not display the screen. Tried changing wall outlets, adapters, leaving the watch on the cradle for a longer time. Nothing works. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi there, @Areds16. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Fitbit device. I understand where your concern is coming from.

I'd suggest trying the following steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I too just experienced my fitbit not being able to turn on. I had something like 50% battery last night and woke up to my phone alarm instead of my watch like usual. Thought it was weird and figured my battery had died therefore I tried the charger. There was no signal coming from the charger on my watch. I tried various outlets and I have two versa chargers and neither are providing power. I am hoping for some help. There isn't any damage to my unit that I can see or damage to the screen. Anyways, any help would be great. Thanks, Andrew.
