My battery has been dying faster and faster. Last night my watch died. It was on the charger all night long and hasn’t turned back on yet. I have checked the connections multiple times.

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.
