Versa won't turn on or take a charge

My Fitbit watch died on Saturday. Since I did not have my charger handy, I had to wait until Sunday afternoon to charge. When I put it to charge, I did not see anything light up. After leaving it to charge for 30 mins, I tried to turn it on but it wouldn't. I put it back on the charger last night until the morning, but still no response. I've tried pressing all 3 buttons for 15 seconds and up to 3 minutes. The watch vibrates every once in awhile and the green/red light in the back lights up on rare occasions.  I do know the watch has charge because I checked the app on my phone. I do notice the battery now drains faster than the usual. Before the watch went dead, I did notice the screen would change on its own.

I hope there's a solution to this issue. My watch is at least 1 year and 2 months old and buying another Fitbit watch is not a solution for me. If there's no solution this problem, I may end up buying another watch, but from another brand.
