Versa won't turn on or take a charge

My Versa was at 65% but would not sync. After following all of FitBit's instructions for reset, including shutting down the device, it will not turn back on. I was told by support that it was a battery issue, even though it was at 65% when I started the reset.

Seems like a pretty terrible business practice to create a product with a 16 month life, and offer only a 25% discount when it breaks. Maybe Samsung's watches will work better for us.

Hi @Kristin_a_n, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa was unable to turn on. I'm also sorry to hear that it's no longer under warranty. The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of the first setup.

I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.

I'll be around if any question arises.
