Last night I left it charging because the app was showing battery low and today I am trying to turn it on and nothing is happening. Anybody is facing the same problem?

Please help!

I have a different opinion. Fitbit Versa is not a bad product. If you have challenge with the one you buy, get in touch with Fitbit Team. Your challenge will be addressed

I have been told by the help staff that there is a software problem that has not been resolved.  I have not been able to find out how widespread the problem is.  I bought my fitbit last May and started having trouble about three weeks ago.  I cannot begin to count the number of people I worked with and I utilized online, email, and phone help.  Nothing solved the problem.  I finally told them that my warranty expires in about a month and I wanted a replacement.  It is supposed to be delivered tonight.  Unfortunately, some people in this community told me that they have had their watch replaced and still had problems.

I am on my second fitbit versa.

The first was replaced in November 2019.

Today, 24th April 2020 I have exactly the same problem. On the charger it feels a bit warm.

Went to charge it and it flashed up 0% which was unexpected as I had charged it two days before and it usually last 4 days.

There are no lights on the back. It won't switch on.

I have contacted fitbit support and had a message that it could take up to 7 days to respond to me.

Last time it went wrong I had a return it to the Netherlands at my own expense and it was almost a month before I got it back.

Each pebble has lasted about 5 months before breaking.

I had a firmware update in the last 2 or 3 days. Not sure if that is related.

Very disappointing.

I also did an update a few days before mine won’t turn on. Also shows 0% battery

I noticed that a number of people said that they had trouble after the update.  I wonder if that is why they are having a communication problem.  I got my replacement watch two days ago and so far it is working fine.  I only have a month left on my warranty.

I just had my 3rd Versa / Versa lite die today. They all died in the same way that the screen would not turn back on regardless of how long we held down all of the buttons.

Versa

   (11/25/2018 - died 12/12/2019) -- fitbit honored warranty

Versa(replacement)

  (12/15/2019 - died 4/25/2020)

daughter's Versa Lite

  ( 8/17/2019 -- died 2/20/2020)

daughter's Versa Lite(replacement)  ... still going for now.

I have had 5 charges and an alta in my family and none of those have died (one did get lost). Some of those have been going for over 3 years.

I am really concerned that the Versa has a serious quality issue but I really enjoyed having the watch. I just cannot afford to keep replacing these every year.

Is the Versa 2 quality any better?

I don't think so. I've seen Versa 2 problems on this blog too. I am
sorry. I am on my 3rd Versa but paid $40 extra for a 2 yr guarantee.
With Google buying out FitBit, hopefully they will inprove it.

If your watch is new, I would suggest returning it to the store.  Don't waste time attempting to fix it.  Try an exchange or get a different model or brand.

I think that those who read the Community board understand that there is a problem.  Unfortunately, when you read the consumer reviews, they usually have at least four stars.  I wrote up a review this week and gave it a one star and explained why.  More people need to provide the feedback so people know before they purchase.  In the meantime, I will take advantage of my warranty.  It comes with a one year warranty.

It never worked for me but thank you so much for coming up with it as it
did help a lot of people temporarily. I agree. It is their fault and I
did tell them this. I was very adamant about it but they just changed the
subject. I kept going back to it but they just ignored it. Shame on
them! Thanks again and good luck with your new product. I wrote it down
as I know my replacement will break soon. Take care!

Thanks for your update.

I wish you all the best with your new device.

I ordered a garmin venu yesterday. I can't bring myself to waste anymore time and money on fitbit.

Strange that it worked for you when 18 others on this recent thread said it did not. Ok good that it worked for someone but not the huge majority.

I went ahead and bought a Garmin Active which was on sale at Best Buy. Right after I did that, I am seeing a slight sign of life from my daughter's Versa lite. It looks like the battery died and so when I press all 3 buttons, I get a display of 0 battery.

If I charge for a few minutes, then I no longer see anything from the fitbit when I hold all 3 buttons. Once the battery hits 0 again and then I see the empty battery display again when pressing all 3 buttons.

Not sure how this helps me to get the Versa working.

Same issue. Restart didn't work. Now my Fitbit Versa is worthless...
