Last night I left it charging because the app was showing battery low and today I am trying to turn it on and nothing is happening. Anybody is facing the same problem?

Please help!

AyAyRon131 I thought you said this "leaving on the charger overnight" in answer to someone else...maybe I got that wrong or am misquoting you??? but now you are saying "I never charge my fitbit overnight "......so what is it? Did you just try and charge overnight to get it working? If you did then I suspect you may have fried it.

Whatever you did I would recommend trying to leave it for two days Max (no longer) and then try the 3 button method that I described (and is Fitbit's answer to this problem and is in this Thread) the only difference is I now suggest that you hold the three buttons in for around 10 minutes or until the Fitbit Logo comes up and then release the buttons. If that logo doesn't appear then I'm afraid it is totally broken\Fried and if it is still not under warranty then go and buy a good fitness tracker like a Garmin (which Wyoming is recommending). I wish you the best of luck

If you scroll back, initially the battery died quickly, charged back up, then died again. At that point I left it on the charger overnight after trying the two and three button method. Nothing worked. Historically I never left on charger, at max, probably more than a couple hours.

So you did what I thought you did which was charge it overnight to try and fix it.....unfortunately, that might have been the kiss of death... let's hope not. Also, what is this two-button method? that isn't a fix. it just doesn't work. Let's be positive and try to fix it.

Leave it for two days MAX

Then try the three-button method and hold the buttons in for around 10 minutes or until the Fitbit Logo comes on (if you are willing to hold in the buttons for longer till 15 mins) then you will have tried everything that is known to be successful.

You haven't said whether or not this Fitbit Versa is still within warranty. Is it within warranty? If so then get Fitbit to send you a new one because they have sold you a watch which is not fit for purpose and a device that they know is faulty. That is all I can do for you. Best of Luck

Hey thanks! No idea if it’s within warranty. Shouldn’t have to do all this BS for a Fitbit but I’ll wait the two days before I take a hammer to it. 👍

I agree with you, you shouldn't have to do this for Fitbit but it's the only way that I know might work. I'm sick to the teeth with this whole nonsense, with a company like Fitbit who won't do anything to recall all their Fitbit Versa's and fix them all. They used to have the best customer service but now they are the worst. Even the Moderators on this Forum NEVER come on here now to moderate any of the posts which is why you can say whatever you like about the company and get away with it. It's a total disgrace and the sooner mine eventually breaks and I get a reliable watch that works and a company that is proud of what they make with reasonable good customer service, the sooner the better.

This is my 4th device from Fitbit... All versa's ansd one blaze. All of them last 4-6 months, one was replaced by the Fitbit customer service.  I will NEVER buy another fitbit device again. My husband and other family members have all had the exact same experience... Lasting 4-6 months max

.. ALL of us take great care of our devices.  No excuses, these devices are very expensive and should last at least 2 years. I am DONE. They sell a similar watch on AMAZON for $30 (some are less) my brother has had this watch for one year... NO PROBLEMS! IT LOOKS AND TRACKS JUST LIKE THE FITBIT! He tested it against his wife's Fitbit Versa and the tracking is on point. $30 max you guys!! My last versa I will EVER waste my hard earned money on started dieing out in 8 hours for the last month and finally came to it's death last night... I am still trying to reboot but nothing... I will be buying my next activity tracker on Amazon, they have just as many good reviews as the Fitbit and it is not going to hurt me so much of it stops working in 6 months... I will be out $30 instead of $200. Screw fitbit. Never again .

This didn’t work for me.  I have followed the thread and tried each of the suggestions made but nothing has helped.

Hi Alejandra!

My fitbit also switched off without notice and will not turn on again. It's been working perfectly fine for the last few weeks and this is the first time that this has happened.

I have tried holding in the back (left) and bottom buttons, have tried holding in all three buttons at the same time - nothing works! 😞

I just ordered one on Amazon.  It is L8star Fitness Tracker and it will be here tomorrow.  They also have a three year warranty for $2.99

I just ordered a watch from Amazon. The total came out to $43 including the tax.  My brother has this watch and has had it for about a year.  He was the first one in the family to ditch the Fitbit craze and try this watch out. He used his wife's versa for one week to compare stats... The versa was just 1-2 steps more but other than that the stats were the same and he is convinced after a week that the steps were just an issue of wrist placement ... All of us in the family have had to replace our fitbits withing 4-6 month each time... I had an original account and I thought maybe there was a spam issue so when I purchase the last watch, I created a new account ... No difference, the versa lasted about 3 months and the watch face completely went out just like a television screen... Off color at the edges until it completely died. They sent a replacement and it lasted me a total of 6 months and is now dead. Sooo I ordered my very affordable watch this morning. I am excited to get it and if it conks out in a few months like the Fitbit watches have, it is not going to be so painful to replace. I honestly do not know HOW Fitbit is staying strong ... I mean... Look at all the problems... Thread upon thread of the SAME issues... Completely unacceptable for a watch over $100 and the community just keeps on donating their hard earned money over to them as did I - having complete faith.... It's just overwhelmingly obvious that this device is garbage. Everyone needs to head over to Amazon and go get their fitness trackers until Fitbit steps up to a higher standard of quality because this is complete BS.

It's by 'Letsfit'. I ordered one this morning.  The total with tax came out to $43 but it comes with an extra band as well.  There is another one that a co-worker has by 'linetek' (if I remember correctly) and is a little cheaper. I chose this one because it is the one my brother has and it has lasted him a year.  Crossing my fingers I have the same experience but even if it only lasts a few months like the Fitbit has for me, at least it is only a fraction of the cost.

Tanya2019 I totally agree....they are now utter rubbish and its not because Google have taken them over it's because they engineered a faulty product and have done absolutely nothing about addressing the problem. Even the Moderators don't come here now to check what we are saying.....I think that just shows you what has gone wrong.

Again thanks for that information and when my Fitbit breaks down then I will certainly look at this product. It looks like a very nice design and very similar to the Fitbit without the faults. At the cost it might be worth taking the plunge and buying one of these.

The exact same thing happened to me today. I charged it all not Friday and put it on this morning remember looking down and seeing 40% which was odd since I had just charged it. The last time it synched was right before it died, when I put it on the charger no lights or battery charging icon, no lights on back of fitbit. I changed plug in and outlet thinking what's going on. Still no response. So I decided to come here looked up problem and found the same issue has occurred with someone else so I tried the same thing of holding the 3 buttons down for at least 3 minutes,  even though when I held down the reset nothing happen. So with in a few seconds of holding all the buttons down it magically came on. Wow super happy now, was super pissed before. Thanks

I’m having the same issue. I tried the factory reset because the touch screen wasn’t responding. Now it won’t turn on at all. I just took it off the charger and it had 100% charge.

Yes, I had the same problem. Would not turn on. Dead as a fly. I held all three buttons at same time. The fitbit logo flashed Quickly and then I released the buttons. now when I hit the back key(Power Button) it comes on. Can anyone from fitbit IT explain what is going on? Its as if the sequence clears the bios to allow it to power up. Thanks anyway guys.

Sunrise I'm glad my idea/advice worked. Unfortunately, you won't get any answer from Fitbit or the Moderators as they give up on this Forum a couple of months ago. They have known about this problem for a couple years and have done nothing about it. They are selling Fitbits which have this problem built into them and have done nothing to fix them. So what I would say to you is expect this problem to happen again.....the three button method is NOT a fix. It has happened to me there times and temporary fixed by the three button method. Whatever you do is DONT charge it for longer than two hours
