Last night I left it charging because the app was showing battery low and today I am trying to turn it on and nothing is happening. Anybody is facing the same problem?

Please help!

Townzy12, I think you are right it has "gone to versa heaven".

It sounds like your's has a different fault from the rest of us and it is......TOTALLY BROKEN

Phone Customers Services tomorrow and I'm sure they will send you a replacement. Remember to tell them that you have been this Forum and you have done all everything that has been advised and nothing is working....best of luck.....it will get sorted

Walked 3 miles in hot weather but noticed later that my Versa is turned off.  It has a medium battery life as I looked on my phone.   I have held the back button down for at least 20 seconds and nothing.  So I read

I'm experiencing the same issue. The versa is suggesting it has full power but won't turn on. I have followed the steps mentioned on the community pages but the ssue hasn't been resolved.

Very disappointing as  this is my second versa and being a professional athlete with 32 million YouTube followers.

Please can you help ASAP

As I said many many times, hold the 3 buttons in (not one or two buttons....3 buttons) for at least 3 or 4 minutes (not 20 seconds) or until the Fitbit logo comes on. Also did this just stop working out of the blue or did you leave it on the charger for a long time? There does seem to be issues with people like myself who have left it charging over night and then it stops working. So if it is stopped after a long charge then I would suggest that you leave it for a day or so and then try the 3 button method. If it doesn't work after that then phone Customer Services and ask them to send you a replacement.

AquabatiqueZoe when did this happen? After a long charge or did it just stop working? If it just stopped working then it is a different problem than this thread is dealing with and just sounds like it is faulty and needs to be replaced. Phone Customer Services and ask for a replacement

Yes I am pretty upset. This is my 2nd Fitbit and each lasted about a
year. For $250 a pop that just doesn't work for me. I am going to find
something else. Good luck with your's!!

That is what I did.  All 3 buttons and held them down for minutes.  I am starting to wonder if my charger is working.  My phone sync's to it normally but of course it won't now.  My phone shows half battery but that was for the last time it synced, which was days ago.  Thanks for your help though.

I don't mean to be pedantic but when you raised this problem you said " I have held the back button down for at least 20 seconds"....just one button and only for 20 seconds but now you say you held all three buttons and now minutes. My solution is as I have said many times is 3 buttons and hold them down at least 3 minutes if not longer or until the Fitbit logo comes up. If that doesn't work then it is broken and the only answer is to phone Customer Services and tell them that you have been on this Forum and you have done all that has been suggested and they will send you a replacement.

When I had this problem I did what Fitbit suggested which was hold the back button down for 15 seconds....it didn't work (I felt like throwing it in the bin) but over a period of a couple of days I tried the 3 button method and eventually  it came to life and this (hard reset) woke it up.

No problem. I took your advice after I 1st posted that I held down the
back button for 20 seconds. Still nothing. I will try again and see what
happens. Thanks!!

I have not posted in awhile. I have tried everything that everyone has posted many times and now am going to call customer service because it is clearly broken. I actually have two friends with the same watch who have both had the same problem. Sounds like a versa issue. I will try to logon and remove my post.
Thanks for your “concern” which I am sure was meant to be helpful

Hi, thank you for your input. Ive left my versa on the charger overnight before as i had this day. I don't even believe the Versa was actually dead because I didn't receive any notifications about it. I have already tried what you suggested. It did not work. The Versa will not charge and the only lighting it does is when I hold the buttons down (I've tried all combinations of holding them down) and it flickers a very dim light every few seconds and then stops. No images no Fitbit symbol. Nothing. I've already reached out to customer service and tried what they suggested which didn't yield any results either. I am going to call customer service again tomorrow.

missdardy it sounds like it is fried and has gone to Fitbit Heaven. I honestly think that the Fitbit can not take over night or long charges because in most cases on this thread if the Fitbit is left to be charged overnight the result appears to be it won’t start....this is what happened to mine. So I NEVER leave mine on the charger. I have now got into the habit of charging it every other day for about an hour or 45 minutes and so far it has worked. I have had mine for nearly a year and so far (since I had a similar fault to yours in that it wouldn’t turn on and I had left it charging for a very long time) it has worked every day.

I hope you have better luck with Customer Services, they should (in my opinion) just have sent you a replacement, but maybe you didn’t insist on it......be a bit more forceful and tell them you have done everything to get the Versa working and you need a replacement.....this is not a toy but an expensive watch that shouldn’t have stopped working. Let us know how you get on.

Townzy12 it doesn’t matter how you bought it, the problem lies with Fitbit. Get on to Customer Services and tell them you have done everything to get this working including coming to this Forum and doing everything you have been told to try and fix it and it hasn’t worked. Be polite but insistent that you need a replacement. As I have said before this is NOT  heap toy but an expensive watch and it shouldn’t have broken in a short period of time. It doesn’t matter how you bought it, you bought it. Let us know how you get on with Customer Services......they are usually very good. Best of Luck

Gallenhill just to clarify, I have NEVER EVER suggested for anyone on here to just hold down ONE button and certainly not for 20 seconds. I have seen elsewhere these instructions but in my opinion it doesn’t work. Not for one moment am I suggesting that the 3 button method of holding them down until the Fitbit Logo shows up is the answer to all Versa problems, it isn’t but it worked for me. In your case it might not work and if it doesn’t then I would suggest that you seek a replacement via Customer Services but my “solution” is worth a try. Best of Luck and let us know how you get on

ps I have noticed that you think it might be your charger....it might be....can you not ask Customer Services to send you another charger or can a friend not lend you one? Personally, I don’t think it is but it is worth a try. I don’t use the Fitbit charger but a third party one and it works every time
