Versa won't turn on

Last night I left it charging because the app was showing battery low and today I am trying to turn it on and nothing is happening. Anybody is facing the same problem?

 

Please help!

I agree. I think when a company as a high interest in a product they are
only worried about quantity not quality. Which in return causes a number of
issues for customers and more work for the company. Many things are made
from cheap or refurbished parts.

Why is this page marked solved, it's obvious this problem is far from solved. I think when the problem is truly solved, and a new product rolled out, every Versa owner deserves a replacement.

The cost of quality is high but if you don't have a quality product, you will likely lose customers forever.

 

I've had two brand new Fitbit Versa units each die in under 7 months.  If this third unit also dies like this I will have lost my faith in the Fitbit brand.

The problem is quality if it was high then many of us would not be having
the same problem. When a product is in high demand companies go for
quantity not quality. It's all about money.

I too am having the same problem. I have tried everything to get it to turn on.  I've held down all the buttons for several minutes until I can't feel my fingers anymore....  It will not turn on.

Not surprised to hear that, the only thing you can do is call customer service and get it replaced.

I called support and my Fitbit will not turn on.  It has been 14 months and is now useless but past warranty the 1 year warranty.  Very frustrated, a lot of money for only 14 months. They offered me a discount on a future purchase but I will not purchase one again with only lasting 14 months.

I have had the exact thing happen to me.  I’m really frustrated.  Loved using this device.   I have only had it for 4 months.    The battery was getting low and I put it on the charger over night.   When I woke up the screen had almost a back light on but you couldnt see any writing.   I powered it down to restart it and it has never turned on again.    I have tried a test with no luck

It is very frustrating. I would call and have Fitbit send an replacement.
It should still be under warranty.

Mine isn't. A few days over a year. I read their warranty recently and
now it is for only 45 days, with an option to purchase a 2 year warranty
for about $40. Thank you though.

I had mine under 6 months and I received an replacement. It doesn't hurt to
try.

Honestly the point is they need to have complaints of their product. You
paid a huge chunk of money for a product that is useless. Sooner or later
they need to fix the issue at hand

They seem to be pushing Charge 3 now, so maybe they've put Versa behind them. That's not fair to the people who bought Versa, not cheap, and continually suffer with it's limitations.

I tried for a replacement, but mine is older than a year.  They said they would send me a code for a percent off a new one, but I said no thanks.  For the money, I would expect longer than 14 months or a fixable issue that I could pay to fix.

Hum..with all the issues I would fight for an replacement. Did you talk to
supervisor?

What I have found the representatives usually don't have much knowledge. I
had to make a number of calls and chats before anything was done. The
Versa is not a cheap product.

Can I ask what you did? I was on the phone for 30 minutes and the best I got was a 50% off code... I would be willing to call back
