Last night I left it charging because the app was showing battery low and today I am trying to turn it on and nothing is happening. Anybody is facing the same problem?

Please help!

Hi there.
I contacted Fitbit via online chat. They asked me to hold buttons etc but nothing worked. They replaced the Versa. It arrived in the post 3 days later.
I was extremely impressed with the service.

Go to contact customer care in app . Its in the trouble shooting section. Select online chat.

Thank you!

UPDATE: I was able to chat with Fitbit customer service and after troubleshooting my device, we found that it is indeed no longer in working order. Luckily, I was still within the warranty period and they are sending me a new Fitbit VERSA for FREE and they even expedited the shipping for FREE!  I am so impressed with their customer service--and I am so excited to get back on track with my FITBIT:-)

Go to Fitbit.com and start a chat and explain what happened. They will run you through a few more tests and also determine if your Fitbit is under warranty for a FREE replacement.

I am having the same problem as well. I had my Fitbit charging as it was fully dead and when I took it off the charger it was very warm and would not turn on. I have tried restarting it many times and nothing happens. Please help!

I'm so disappointed that so many people are having the same problems we had.

My daughter's versa died - wouldn't turn on unless on the charger.  Since it was in warrenty, a replacement was sent - BUT the replacement was refurbished and had other issues.  They again replaced it.

The fact that the replacement - a refurbished one - didn't work on arrival says a lot!!

I think they have a lemon of a product and anyone contacting them getting a refurbished replacement will just have more issues shortly.  At first I was happy with their customer service, but fully expect that I will be contacting them again in a few months when this replacment breaks...

I don't think I will be buying Fitbit again in the future.  This was an eye opening experience for sure!

My replacement was a new one but... .it won't sync with the phone unless I turn off and on the phones bluetooth first. I ll avoid fitbit in future also.

Hi! I just got my second replacement. My first replacement lasted all of 2 months. I was quite devastated that it happened again. There is really a problem with the product but I will give it another chance with the second replacement which is in effect my third Versa. Fingers crossed.

I am having the exact same problem! I put my versa on to charge last night and this morning the screen was totally black and will not turn on. It doesn't come up with the charging screen when I connect it to the charger, and I tried to reset/reboot it or whatever (holding down the buttons) but got nothing.

This worked for me. Again, hold buttons for about 10 seconds. After release the logo will come on. Not surevwsu it powered down in the first place...

Hi, I’ve had my fitbit versa for a month, had to reset it the other day as heart beat tracker stopped working. I went swimming with it today , first heart beat tracker stopped working i reset it. & charged it up. Since then i can’t turn it back on! I’ve tried your suggestions pressing in buttons as mentioned in your community pages. Hasn’t helped - just a black screen. Really frustrating as i was enjoying using it. Please advise

This worked for me, but I would like to know how the watch got to this state.

I shut it down every time I drive so that it doesn't falsely count steps.  Normally I only need to press the back (left) button for an instant for it to come back on.  But today was a different scenario.

Is there something I did wrong when I shut it down?

@medavis68 if your versa adds ghost steps while driving try setting the Wrist Placement option in the Fitbit mobile app to Dominant.

I charged my versa Fitbit last night. Put it back on. It was working fine. Hours later I wake and and black screen. Nothing works. I can’t reset it. Factory reset doesn’t work. This is crazy. It’s not even 6 months old. Help please

I would call or chat with the Fitbit customer service. That sounds like
what mine did.

I also have the same problem.  First started as my brand new Versa stopped communicating/syncing with my IOS ap.  I tried to “restart” the device and now I have a blank screen.  Holding buttons down as detailed in below experiences has done nothing.  Very frustrated.  Any thoughts or ideas?
