Versa won't turn on

my versa went flat yesterday and now won't turn on.

I have tried charging it on different power adapters, and hard restting it won't even work.

The screen stays completely black.

I have made sure it is connecting with the charging pins correctly and still nothing.

I only got the versa 4 months ago.

@NicM86 When was the last sync? Is it screen that is dead or the watch (does it still sync, connects when you open fitbit mobile app, do sensor lights blink?)

  • Rub the charging port with alcohol, put Versa in charger and plug it for several hours for charging using USB on your computer
  • Try turning Versa on by pressing the left button
  • Try rebooting Versa several times by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  • If the reboot fails try performing 3-button factory reset:
    1. Press and hold all 3 buttons until Fitbit logo flashes (this may take up to 3 minutes)
    2. After Fitbit logo disappears, release the bottom right button
    3. Wait until you feel strong vibration and release the other buttons.

    You may need to attempt the reset a few times to find the optimal times. Trying holding the buttons longer, as long as it's needed for the vibration to appear.

     

    If you're successful with factory reset, please remember to remove Versa from your Fitbit account (in your Fitbit mobile app) and Paired Devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings as you will have to set it up again (add as a new device).
