Versa wont install new Clock Face

Trying to change watch face and versa keeps working but fails to change style.

Switching between clockfaces the Fitbit mobile app is a problem . Have to restart the mobile app and choose "install later" before I can switch to another clock face. Luckely the clockfaces switching on the smartwatch  works fine.

My partner had exactly the same issue - it had constantly said Cannot install clock face. Your device is not connected. Exiting the app and restarting it fixed it - kudos! Thanks 🙂 😀

Thank you! Fixed the issue by putting it on the charger while changing clock.

Did all the steps, still did not work. Finally uninstalled fitbit app and reinstalled. Finally worked. Fyi, it was the bit emoji face that was the issue. Other clock face downloaded quickly.

ALL. The only way to truly switch faces is factory reset and re download the aps and install/update fitbit.  So buying new faces, is a hassle.  This was fine before they had the 5 faces/saved.  I should had stuck with fitgear.  This is the worst experience I've gotten switching to fitbit.

I have been trying for days to install the clock weather app and now I do not want it but I can’t I all another either. The message I get is other apps are installing. I have turned my phone off server almost times and this darn app just continues to install day after day.

please help me.

Currently my face is stuck on fitface and i want to change it to chalkboard. I have done the restart and Bluetooth on and off and wifi on and off but it just dont want to change.

What else can I try, I have even tried it on my samsung and Huawei phones. Both don't want to work.

i tried to add a new face. It told me to install . Well then it came up I had to pay and I do not want that face. Now it has my clock face locked with something of there’s. I cannot get in to cancel this face

I put the watch in it's charger and connected my phone to it's charger as our internet connection used to be patchy through wifi and just kept resetting it continually until it sparked into life, after a couple of false attempts it just did it! I think in my case the watch was my brothers and he hadn't updated it ( at all) and there was a conflicting thing with this update which hadn't loaded properly and me trying to change the face so it was a case of just letting it boot up and sort itself out and then as if by magic the face changed quickly. Good luck keep trying!

After all the restarts of both phone and watch, and bluetooth reconnects, and no luck. .. I ended up completely deleting the app, and reinstalling it. All fine now. 

When I uninstalled it, it warned I would lose all my data, but I don't see anything missing so idk. ..  (however the only thing I really look at for stats is the sleep patterns anyway so I don't think I would notice anything missing.)

Carlos re watch face problems as per your post restarted fitbit rh/lh buttons done ,pad turned off on ,Bluetooth turned off/on,WiFi turned off/on went into clock selection selected all clocks selected modern analog also tried business screen went blank with work in process circle just wiring around nothing else  no error messages gave up waiting in end and turned off any suggestions regards Jeff /sandy

I think it’s going to have to be uninstall app then reinstall and see what happens just waiting on some confirmation advise on this drastic step

I've restarted everything like 10 times and it will still not load the clock face  it just says won't install.  I've closed everything out and restarted it repeatedly still nothing . What else is there to do?

I have ben trying to install the St Patrick's Day clock face.  When I choose it, all that happens is the icon spins forever.  I tried to do a soft reset, however, that won't work either.  My fitbit seems to be stuck.  I have tried turning my phone off/on turn the wifi off/on and turn my Bluetooth off/on and nothing is working.  I have had my fitbit for 2 years and I really don't want to loose all of my information by doing a hard reset.  At this point, I am not sure that will work either.  Totally frustrated and I would be very disappointed if I am stuck with the current watch face. Can anyone assist me please?

What worked for me was go to settings / shutdown 

 

I force closed the app.

 

Restarted the versa

 

Restarted the app.  The correct watch face was identified in the app and I was able to change the watch face to the one I wanted.

Good morning Billy thanks for advise where in the Fitbit app did you find setting/shutdown can’t seem to locate it in set up mind you I’m no expert with this sort of problem thanks regards slow(old)12
