Versa2 Suddenly acting like water damage

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Wore my Versa2 to exercise yesterday and couldn't get it to end the exercise without starting a new one and cancelling it. Thought it was just a glitch, and watch worked normally at this morning's workout. Workout ended normally. Got in shower about an hour after workout and all of a sudden the screen got all striated and unreadable...help!!!

It is probably water damage. Do this test:

Place a bit of ice on top of the sensors on the back. Leave it there for a few seconds and then check if there is condensation/fogging behind the sensors. If there is, it means that humidity found its way in and the watch is damaged.

Mine died a couple of days ago because sweat got in. Even if Fitbit advertises 50m water resistance, they are at most spill resistant and not much else.

I feel you. I have had two Versas (a Lite and the Versa 2) and both died due to water damage. I bought the Versa 2 last December so it's not even a year old.

File a warranty claim with Fitbit support and good luck with that.

I actually ordered a Garmin Venu yesterday. I'm jumping off the Fitbit ship.
