Versa2 is dead, less than 2 yrs

My Versa 2 stopped holding a charge for more than a couple of hours. Yesterday, after charging it twice, it just displayed the Fitbit logo and wouldn’t do anything else. I had no problems until I updated the app last week.

This seems to be an update issue.  My Versa needs to be charged 3 times a day since the update.  I went to bed with it at 83% woke up to 53%. Customer Service will not acknowledge that this is their issue, they want us to purchase new since "it is out of warranty".  There is a post about the batter already in this community

May be giving up on Fitbit. I see manu, many posts with the same issue we’re having. Time for an Apple watch?

I know right!  What is worse is that in the Community they have acknowledged that this is an update issue!  You call or chat with customer service they analyze and tell you your watch is out of warranty and MAY be defective so there is nothing they can do.  They appear to only want everyone's dollars and you to upgrade to the latest and greatest.
