Versa2 shows the Fitbit logo and messages in other languages

My Fitbit Versa 2 started up, after taken off the charger, with a hazy white cast screen and then lost Bluetooth connectivity.  When I press the button it now will display the FitBit logo, but below the logo it displays foreign languages that flash and the type of language keeps changing!  I think my Fitbit is “fried” or something!!

Thanks for the information provided.

 

Please restart your Fitbit Versa 2 by following these instructions and then set it up as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1632098389742.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
