Versa2 will not stay connected to Alexa

Versa2 stopped working with iOS/Alexa.  Watch always says “set up Alexa” “complete setup in fitbit mobile app and sync device”. 
I do that, it works for a bit then goes back to “set up...” blah blah blah. 
Worked fine before last Fitbit is update.

I don't know if you still have your versa 2, but my Versa 2 started to do the same.... not work.  I get it to work then it stops working when I leave home or work (depending where I set up Alexa again.)  I also got an Alexa dot and noticed the watch giving me issues then. I restarted my watch, phone after uninstalling and reinstalling Alexa on versa. Can customer service help please.
