How is it possible for my Fitbit versa 3 battery to drain from 24% to 0% when switched off within 12 hours?

Hi @Nigel1 - this would be indicative of a fault.

When charging make sure it doesn't get hot and if so stop immediately.

If the watch gets moisture in it it can cause a sort of shorting of the battery causing it to drain quickly, whether on or not.

Thanks Guy for taking the time to reply. Unlikely to be moisture inside, don't wear near water too much, even though it is waterproof. Could be a fault as it's about 4 years old.
