Versa3 not setting up with new phone

My wife got a new Pixel6 phone but we cannot set up the Versa3 with it. I've removed watch from her previous phone and tried to pair through the app but don't get code appearing on watch to pair it. I just get a message to Unlock with your phone. Help!!!

Hi @RobD12345 - just in case make sure the old phone is switched off.

It is good that there only be one watch and one phone (no tablets or PCs) active at the setup stage.

Remove any Fitbit Bluetooth entry from the new phone. And restart the watch (hold the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start) and phone.

Login and run "Set up a Device" and replace if possible.

If the watch has device lock enabled you may be able to enter the pin or go to device lock in the app and permit it.

It may help to minimise the app and tap the pop up notification to get the Bluetooth sorted, which may be enough to resolve the lock.

Worth a try to avoid factory reset if you can't unlock the device.

@RobD12345 You removed it how, deleted it from her account? All you have do do with a new phone is download the app and sign in. You don't have to set the watch back up again. I have had my Fitbits on multiple phones since I started with Fitbit in 2016. I currently have my Versa 2 on four phones just fine.

Thanks for the advice.
My Versa 3 has a message across the page saying unlock with your phone. I
have no idea what it is talking about.
I can’t do anything with the phone. Delete it
Comes back. Restart it comes back. Can’t get to anything because of that.

@Keoneal57 Hi. May have something to do with the security lock screen, but now it's been deleted from account? I've read about this but don't remember results and never dealt with it myself. Chat support is available around the clock, rather than waiting here?
