Versus not tracking BPM, sleep, and no text notifications

Hey. 

I am having a few issues with my Versa. Shortly after getting the versa (12/25/2018) I stopped getting text notifications despite the settings being on.

Now I am having issues with not having my BPM and sleep monitored. The sensor for BPM is not longer lit. What is he next step?

Hi, try to restart your Versa multiple times in a row by pressing the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. Check in the settings of your Versa id HR is set to on. If you have done all these things and it does not solve your problems, contact Customer Support.

Thank you! After spending two hours trying to get my heart rate to dispkay again, I found your suggestion. It worked like a charm!

How many times is "multiple"?  I've tried at least 8 times and still no luck, what next?
