I’m very disappointed with this product. Not only does it record inaccurately, but there’s no way this product is waterproof. I took it swimming (even though it has a swimming option) and as soon as I got out of the water (without having touched any buttons underneath the water), my Fitbit started freaking out. I of course restarted it many time as well as went through the settings to restart. I noticed immediately the home button stopped working and couldn’t log out of any program I was in. After less than 24 hours later, my Fitbit continued to get worse by constantly switching back between payments and the home screen even though no buttons were being given touched. I received this as a gift for Christmas and am honestly beyond frustrated at this point. I’ve stopped wearing my Fitbit because it serves no purpose at this point. I’d like to know if anyone else is having these problems and if I can have a refunded product or have my Fitbit replaced.

Did you dry off the screen. Water on a touch screen usually causes havik.

After I went swimming? I don’t believe so. However, it’s supposed to be a waterproof product. So, why would they advertise it if it can’t have water on the screen ?

No @LizFriedli. the federal law, and now the international standard, is that no watch may be labeled water proof. The term is water resistant to X, where X can be pressure or depth.
Yes the screen can get wet, but it is a touch screen and the water on the screen will make your finger touch act crazy. It is the same with your phone. Spray glass cleaner on it then try and use your phones screen.
As for a refund or replacement, this would be a question for Fitbit, not the Fitbit users.
