I am on versa with Android app with my Samsung S9+. Lately i realized that while my step count on dashboard is ok, the stepcount on the frend section if community does not sync. When checked on friends app the step count is different for me and even that of my friends. Had to Google the issue because the pathetic user interface of your Fitbit app wouod not make me
reach customer care. The heights of customer undriendlyness is that in your app in customer support category there is no single option given that states email customer support. Nevertheless basis inputs from google which showed some forums discussing this issue, i restarted my Versa and also closed the app , logout and relogin in. But still the problem persisted. Then unpaired the device and again paired., but in vain. The problem got more grave now and i have no friends to show in the friend section of the community tab in the app. This is so frustating..... If I look back i realize i have had so many issues with Fit bit app in the past also... seems the quality of services deteriorating. Time to explore othe options.

@GunjanSahni It was difficult to go through all these running sentences... But, I think I got the message you're not happy because you could not find contact info for the support. The one that is located in the Fitbit app in the Help section under Support... Yes... definitely things are deteriorating here.
You're welcome.

You are very correct in that you say about how unhelpful & unsupported FitBit can be. It all depends on who you get to speak & deal with on the day 'their end user & product knowledge' and if 'personally they are having a good or bad day'.
It also depends on if the training they received (if any at all) expands past the fault finding flow chart before them that once they reach the end of it? It clearly says 'user defined fault' so offer that person a big discount on a previous model FitBit that we have a stock of in the warehouse that we cannot sell.
Bad customer service & support is why 20 September 'release date' I am moving to Apple Watch 5.

@GrubbyDuck didn't you announce this a year ago? Sorry but not sorry. 😊 Good luck with your Apple watch. Don't forget to get two, so you can wear one while the other one is charging. 😊

@GrubbyDuck I once tried an Apple watch but I couldn't for the life of me get the thing to connect with my LG G6, I gave up and sent it back. I know fitbit has it's issues, but my Ionic and Versa 2 do at least sync with my phone.
Obviously it's your choice and I hope you have a better experience than I did with it.

Unfortunately I had the same issue as described by @N8teGee as I couldn't pair my Apple Watch serie 3 with my Google Pixel. However I heard the new Apple Watch 5 is a great improvement so I wanna try again.
However, as advised, I'm going to buy 2 watches so I can use one to monitor my sleep and then, when awake, swap with the daily one that in the meanwhile could recharge during the night. I think this is the best setup and I strongly advise to follow it @GrubbyDuck
