I wasn't getting notifications at all but I unpaired my device, reset my phone and then paired again. Now I can see the notifications but I don't get a vibration. It did vibrate for notifications when plugged into my charger this morning but it's not on my wrist. Can anyone help me with this?

I had the same problem but I had to check with tech support four times before one of them fixed my problem and now it's working like it should be.  I couldn't tell you how they did it but they took me step by step until it worked.  Good luck!

Mine is also not vibrating when I get a call or text after my last update. I have checked to make sure everything is turned on. I have done the alarm test and sure enough it vibrates. But it does not for calls or texts any more.

Oh and it also stopped alerting me when its 10 to the hour.

So both of those functions have stopped working with the last update.

At least the alarm still works but I would really like it to remind me to move every hour.   And get my calls.

Thank you

I was having the same problem. If your sound is off on your phone it will stop texts from vibrating. Just turn ringer up. I hope this helps. It fixed mine.

I have Fitbit versa and iPhone XR. My text notifications do not vibrate and my weather app on my device does not pick up current location. I tried all I can and 4 different customer service people could not solve it either. All they said is waiting for next software update to come, to hopefully solve the problem. They do not know when the software update will happen either. This is unbelievably bad answer to the issues like these. I got this for 6 months and they cannot return either. Very unhappy about their technical solutions. Does anyone have the same issue?

I don’t know if any Fitbit development team is checking these comments. It is very frustrating that things like this does not work. Today the customer service person asked me to update my IOS and I did but still text does not vibrate. Somebody from the company technical team must work on providing a solution for this!!! My versa stopped working after last device software update! How come they did not give a full test of their products before they released it!!!

Mine versa was not notifying me of calls or texts. I tried various trouble shooting things with no luck. Then I went into setting in the fitbit ap and down under the notifications the very last setting was turned off...turned it on and at least the thing vibrates now...it has one old message from a month ago that will not clear, which makes it so I can't read my new ones on my wrist....but at least I can keep my phone on silent at work. Hope this helps you. Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Thanks. I’ve done everything- including this. I think it’s just had it...

I kept trying over and over the trouble shooting stuff. I even unpaired the fit bit and removed it from the ap. And then repairing it...I was determined O was going to make mine work again. I did not want to dole out big bucks again.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Good luck with that for us. I got my Versa 2 Friday, May 8. By Sunday, the 10th, suddenly no more vibrations for notifications. If I pull the screen down they're there, but no vibration. I can only guess when they'll do a firmware fix and I certainly won't hold my breath. So far it's been a very expensive waste.

I have found that it is in the settings in my phone. In the notifications, you need to allow notifications from fit bit ap, make sure it is still connected via bluetooth, and in the text message ap you use, make sure you have selected preview messages. Then in the fitbit ap itself there is a notification setting as well.Good luck, I know it sounds like a lot. I kept playing with my settings and finally got it so it works...knock on wood.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Jogger, my friend,
I'd already done everything you mentioned several times to no avail, hence
my post. After reading your response, I went back and did everything you
said. There was another list that I'd also looked at and there were items
checked, but obviously I'd scrolled through it to quickly (several times, I
might add) assuming (we all know what assuming does!) the Fitbit box was
checked. Well, this time, while writing this reply to your response, I
specifically looked at the the Fitbit app box and it was unchecked!!!
Duuuh!! Now I feel really stupid (I'm a 6x grandfather; I'm supposed to be
wise and know stuff). At this point, I'm giving you permission to laugh.
Obviously, I needed your kick in the **ahem** beause it worked. Thank-you so
much, stay safe and healthy, and keep saving the world!

Hi moderator! My fitbit is doing the same thing! If the support team can find anything to suggest to @nimR@d, please send me the help too. I have tried everything & I seriously rely on the notification!! That is what drew me to fitbit in the first place!!

Doing a factory reset of my fitbit was the only thing that fixed this issue! But I am getting my notifications again.

Thanks.  I have tried that several times now!  It worked once for about a second or two!  The crazy thing is, now the calls are coming through on vibration, but still nothing else is.  Not doing good or happy with it!

I am having the exact same issue with my Versa Lite. I have unpaired it, reset  all settings, removed app and reinstalled, etc. I receive text notifications and vibrations for other things fine, but receive no call notifications.
