But the microphone stopped.working so they sent.me.a.new.one and that one also.stopped.working

@Ljb0328 have you checked to see if the Mike is turned on? 

Also through settings, I would do a shutdown, this is the best way to restart hardware. 

I've also moved your post out of an old dead unrelated thread.

Yes it is on. Reset the last one when it stopped working and it still didn't work and resetting is a pain because other features have to be reset
