Voicemail disappears from iPhone after Versa notification

Over the past two days, I have received phone calls that I could not answer immediately. I saw on my Versa that the calls were coming in and that voicemails were left. My iPhone also initially notified me of this. When I went to check my voicemail later on, the notification and the voicemail had disappeared. 

Is this a Versa issue or iPhone issue?

Hi there @lizzyshine, nice to have new faces in the Fitbit Community! I was reading your voicemails notifications disappear due to your Versa.

In this case is a Versa behavior, we have found there is a bug affecting this feature. Our team is already reviewing this have a fix in the future. In the meantime while we got any progress, you might continue experiencing this issue.

This has happened to me several times. My Versa is barely a month old.  Not only is voicemail disappearing but also calls are not appearing in my call log on my iPhone. This was an issue reported in June 2018 and it’s not fixed yet?

I am still having this same issue on my phone/watch 4 months after this original post. Is this still not fixed? No way to retrieve the voicemails back to my phone? I have 2 from unknown numbers and would like to know what they want before I call back and sound stupid 'Hi I have a missed call but didn't listen to the message you actually left.'

I imagine nothing is being done about this issue. I like the feature of notifications on my Versa but if they are being deleted from my iPhone, what is the purpose?  I am going to have to return this expensive pedometer.

I am having the same issue. I see a voicemail come through on my Versa and on my iPhone, but then when I go to listen to the VM, it has absolutely disappeared...along with the missed call. What is the timeline for this to be fixed? People can not afford to miss voicemails or missed calls, just because it is syncing/notifying them via the Versa as well...what can we do in the meantime to ensure our voicemails and recent calls do not disappear?

12/12/18 and this issue still exists. Brand new - watch hasn't even been on my wrist for 24 hours. Not a huge deal because I don't want call notifications on my wrist, but it's extremely annoying. Fitbit can you give us an update? A ton of people have complained in the last 7 months and we have no answer/update.

Did they push the fix through? My Versa is brand new and I'm having this issue. My calls and voicemails don't even show up on my phone at all.

No, they haven't fixed it. I ended up returning my Versa.

Fitbit has marked this as solved but warned it is not!!!

They just told me the update to IOS 12.1.2 is known to fix this problem as per Sari in fitbit customer support.

I just purchased a versa and get notifications of voicemail and nothing is on my iPhone.  2-28-19

Hello Kaireann,

I had to return my Versa.  Fitbit doesn't have a fix for this and losing my voicemail was a nightmare.  I have since purchased a Charge 3.  I like it but I do miss the features of the Versa. Maybe someday in the future Fitbit will have a fix for this but it's been almost a year since this became an issue and it's still not fixed.  Works great if you have an adroid phone...
