I would like to be able to track laps at my indoor track. The track is set up that 12 laps equal 1 mile. I sometimes lose count. Fitbit counts steps but I cant simply count laps by pushing a button.
The built in lap counter set a lap at 0.5 miles/laps. Can this be changed?

@wmnvbob The automatic lap count intervals are set and you can't change that. You CAN set a manual lap count. When you select the Walk shortcut, swipe up on the tiny "^" at the bottom. In the Laps section, choose Manual instead of Automatic. This sets your lap count to be the top stat. You will see a lap icon at the top of the screen when you start your walk. Tap on the icon to count a lap.
It's probably a good idea to turn the GPS off for your indoor walk. I don't think the GPS will ever connect. I can connect when I am upstairs in my house, but not downstairs. When you turn the GPS off, your Fitbit will measure the distance using steps x stride length.
