My new versa initially identified my daily long walks (5 miles) correctly as walks, but has for the past 3 days identified them as elliptical workouts (which credits me with 2-3 times more calories burned). My walks are at a fast pace, uninterrupted,. and last about 80 minutes. My arms swing freely.
Is there a way to turn off elliptical recognition?

Restart your tracker several times and that will hopefully get it back on track let us know how you go
@joe53 to remove elliptical (good option if you dont use it), on your app, tap your exercise tile and select the gear icon in the top right. There you can turn off Smart Track recognition of Elliptical.

Thank you, NellyG.
Navigating Versa is a bit of a challenge for me. It is my first exercise tracking device, and I do not find its GUI intuitive.

@joe53 🤣 I know what you mean, but you do get better at it! Ive had my Ionic for about 6 months and it doesnt seem nearly so weird and hard to navigate now.
